For Danni, it’s not just about liking a book; it’s about diving deep into themes—preferably over snacks & an adult beverage.
Danni’s love for books is a lifelong adventure—one that often leaves her forgetting what day it is (sorry, laundry, but a plot twist waits for no one!).
In 2023, she leveled up her obsession by starting a local book club with Michelle to find fellow book nerds. Known for her quick wit, she spices up discussions with quirky trivia & hot takes, ensuring no one leaves without a chuckle—or at least a raised eyebrow.
Due to their success with their local book club, they created Book Club After Dark, a podcast & online haven where readers can connect, unwind, & trade bookish banter.
Danni's ideal evening features her husband, toddler, & two loyal dogs with a glass of wine in one hand & a great book in the other (likely with at least a sprinkle of spice!) She hopes BCAD captures that same cozy chaos, where stories come alive & laughter is the recurring theme.

Michelle Potter

Michelle’s love of reading began with the Hunger Games series & has evolved from young adult fantasy to the themes presented in adult fantasy, fiction, & thriller novels; her current favorite read is the Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros. She enjoys spending her nights snuggled up with her daughter, husband, & two dogs. Add a chai latte, charcuterie board, & a novel & it’s the perfect evening.
